User attribution and access mode on the subscription Activities tab

Moderate Upgrade

The subscription Activities tab now shows who initiated each subscription change and how the change was made. Previously, some entries credited a stale owner, sales representative, or fulfillment user instead of the user who performed the action. Partner API lifecycle events, including subscription creation, updates, and cancellations, now appear in the Activities feed.

UI updates

The Activities tab includes an Access Mode column. Values are:

  • Self-Serve — Action performed by the customer in the marketplace UI.
  • Assisted Sales — Action performed by a sales representative on behalf of the customer.
  • Impersonation — Action performed while impersonating a customer or reseller account. Entries show both the acting user and the impersonator.
  • External API — Action triggered through Partner APIs.
  • System — Automated or scheduled system operation.

📝 Note: Access mode and impersonator details apply to new activity entries. Historical entries are not backfilled.
